肇庆金丰宾馆

I stayed 2 nights at the Song Tao Hotel on the recommendation from a freind of mine whilst visiting Zhaoqing. ( I visit every year or so and have got to know the area quite well ) The Song Tao Hotel is located about 10 mins out of the downtown area or about 5 mins from the Railway Station on the North Shore of Star Lake in a large complex that includes 2 large Hotel Buildings, Restaurant Pavillion, Function Centre, Business Centre, Lakeside promenade and tour boat wharf. The room I had was located in the Building closest to the Lake, gave me a great view and in general was around the same standard that you would get elsewhere in Zhoaqing. ( Quite close to the Dynasty, Star Lake International and Fashion Show Hotels ) The room nice and light although the wooden decor was a little dated by most standards it was functional and very clean. The Bed was rock hard but you can get a good nights sleep with a little work and few extra pillows. The room contained a empty minibar ( Can be stocked on request ) 2 sofa chairs, coffee table, Writing Desk, Wall Mounted Remote Air Conditioner, TV ( No English Channels or Cable ) and overall despite the decor was hard to fault given the situation and location. The Bathroom was smallish but very useable. Plenty of bottled water was supplied ( Don’t risk drinking the Tap Water ) and the only major issue in my view was the occasional absence of Hot Water in the shower. The Toilets are western style for those who are put off by traditional Chinese toilets and the bathroom was always stocked with a range of convenience items. The Staff were fast and efficient to any request, They don’t speak much English but are like numerous other Hotels in the area try hard and there is normally someone around to help out in the communications area if need be. I didn’t eat at the Hotel but from the crowd in the restaurant during the day on the lakeside the cuisine obviously rates quite well it seems. There is a Chinese 7/11 at the front of the Hotel Car Park selling snacks, drinks and just about anything else one could want. This Hotel is a worthy addition to the list of Hotels in Zhaoqing, I have noticed several other Hotel properties in the area that I will check out next time, but if your looking for a non downtown hotel this place is more than a reasonable bet for a few days.

松涛宾馆位于七星岩旁，是一花园式酒店，酒店内的房间有各种风景房。酒店旁就是一个美丽的湖~！风景优美。性价比很高，值得一去。

我住过的酒店也不是很多，这家酒店的位置不是很好，本身肇庆这个位置的话就不很繁华，也是比较偏僻一点。装修也比较简单，我希望酒店的装修、设施在能够提升一下就更好了，我住的房间挺大的，周边的环境挺好的，绿化也比不错，附近有旅游景区，走一段路就是了旅游景区了。

酒店就在七星岩风景区内，晚上的夜景很漂亮，可以看到环湖的灯饰。空气一流，环境安静，我们吃完饭放好行李，就可以到酒店里的风景区逛，坐在湖边，点了几份小吃，几瓶啤酒，看着湖景及对岸市区繁华的灯光，湖面上的凉风吹到面上，有几分凉爽，随便聊点什么就可以坐几个小时了。 早上去酒店餐厅喝早茶，坐在湖边的落地玻璃旁，整个七星岩风景尽收眼底，湖面偶尔行过的游船，运动员训练的小艇让人感觉在画中一般。

这个酒店整体外表是很旧的，设施比较少，卫生和服务人员比较好。这里空气是很清晰令人心旷神怡、回归自然的感觉。
